ALEXANDER'S COTTAGE
Located in a National Historic District in Bentonsport, Iowa. Only a block from
the Des Moines River, one can hear the tree frogs sign and an occasional owl
hoot at night. In the morning one can often hear a cow moo across the river or
roosters crow down the road, not so loud as to disturb ones sleep, but a
pleasant outdoor greeting.
